About this slab

About Calacatta Bianco Quartz Countertop Slab MA3412

MA3412 is a calacatta bianco quartz slab: the white is pushed brighter than a standard Calacatta and the vein net is drawn softer, 2 to 8 mm with diffused edges rather than sharp outlines. Bianco means white, and that is the priority here — the veins are there to give the surface life, not to be the subject.

Calacatta Bianco Quartz, Our Brightest Calacatta

For calacatta bianco quartz, its pushed-bright ground keeps small or dark quartz kitchen countertops light, and it is one of our Calacatta quartz slabs. Natural marble needs regular sealing and careful cleaning, as the Natural Stone Institute’s marble countertop care guide sets out; this quartz needs neither.

  • Whiter ground — the base is a cleaner, cooler white than the classic Calacatta reading, which is what buyers are after when they compare calacatta bianco quartz against warmer versions.
  • Soft-edge veining — diffused vein edges mean a seam through a vein blends instead of stepping, so long runs joined at 3 m read as one surface.
  • Small kitchens — the brighter ground bounces more light, which is the practical reason it is specified in galley kitchens and apartments with one window.
  • Silica-free version — available as a crystalline-silica-free slab on the same drawing, for Australian and other markets where that is now the requirement.
  • Delivery — stock runs ship in 7–15 days and made-to-order in 30; bianco calacatta quartz is one of the faster-moving whites, so check current stock before committing to the longer lead time.
Applications

Where this slab is used

Kitchen island and countertop in Calacatta Bianco MA3412 quartz — application example

Kitchen countertops & islands

A calacatta bianco quartz slab lets a galley kitchen run 2.4 m of worktop plus a full-height splashback from one sheet.

Small kitchens are where a brighter white earns its money, because the counter becomes a light source rather than a dark band.

Full-height backsplash and wall cladding in Calacatta Bianco MA3412 quartz — application example

Backsplash & wall cladding

Splashbacks in 15 mm on a vertical run to save weight; the soft veining means the panel does not need to align with the top.

Diffused veining is forgiving at joints, which is why the splashback can be cut for yield rather than for pattern.

Bathroom vanity top in Calacatta Bianco MA3412 quartz — application example

Vanity tops & hotel projects

Three 1000 mm vanity tops per slab for an apartment block; the bright ground keeps windowless bathrooms from reading grey.

Internal bathrooms have no daylight at all, and the ground colour of the stone decides whether the room feels clean or dim.

Bar and reception counter in Calacatta Bianco MA3412 quartz — application example

Bar & reception counters

Reception counters in 20 mm; the brighter white photographs well behind a logo or signage.

Front desks are the background to a brand, and a cleaner white is a better background than a warm one.

Commercial floor tiled with Calacatta Bianco MA3412 quartz — application example

Flooring

Floor panels at 800 × 800 mm in a lobby or bathroom; eight per slab.

Bright floors lift the whole room's light level, which reduces how much artificial lighting a windowless space needs.

Dining table top in Calacatta Bianco MA3412 quartz — application example

Dining & coffee table tops

A 1600 × 800 mm table top with a 20 mm eased edge keeps the proportion light.

A thin edge suits a bright slab; a 40 mm edge would make the same top look heavy.

Performance

Built for countertops

Stain resistant

Non-porous surface; wine, coffee and oil wipe off without sealing.

Scratch resistant

Mohs 6–7 — as hard-wearing as granite for daily kitchen use.

Heat tolerant

Handles warm pots; use trivets above 150 °C.

Food safe & low maintenance

NSF-listed formula, cleans with soap and water.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

Is Calacatta Bianco quartz the brightest Calacatta?

Among our Calacatta designs, yes. MA3412 pushes the ground to a very bright white and softens the vein net to 2 to 8 mm with diffused edges, so it reads brighter than Classic or Venato. The base is also a cleaner, cooler white than the classic Calacatta reading.

What kitchens suit Calacatta Bianco quartz MA3412?

A brighter white with soft veining, MA3412 suits contemporary, coastal and small-apartment kitchens where light is the priority: high-gloss or matte white fronts, pale timber, and chrome or brushed steel. It also works as a laboratory or clinic surface where the room must read clean. In a large dark-panelled kitchen it can look thin, and a warmer or bolder design holds up better.

Will joints show on a long MA3412 run?

Very little. Diffused vein edges mean a seam through a vein blends instead of stepping, so long runs joined at 3 m read as one surface, and splashbacks can be cut for yield. Keep all the slabs in one production batch, where colour is consistent; a slab from a later batch can differ slightly, so order the whole run together or check a sample first.

Can I buy Calacatta Bianco quartz MA3412 one slab at a time?

Yes, from stock. MA3412 is one of our faster-moving whites, and stock slabs ship in 7–15 days from a one-slab minimum, so check current stock first. If the slabs you need are not in stock, we press them to order: one container, up to five colours in it, and about 30 days. Cut vanity tops and worktops have no minimum, though freight on small shipments is high.

Do you cut Calacatta Bianco quartz vanity tops for apartment projects?

Yes. One slab yields three 1000 mm vanity tops for an apartment block, and a galley kitchen gets 2.4 m of worktop plus a full-height splashback from one sheet. Splashbacks are cut in 15 mm to save weight on a vertical run, and reception counters in 20 mm, where the bright white sits well behind a logo or signage.
