These terms apply to quotations, order confirmations and shipments between G-Stone and its trade customers, unless a separate signed contract says otherwise. This page was last updated on 30 September 2026.
A quotation is valid for the period stated on it, and prices are subject to confirmation if the material specification, quantity or delivery date changes. An order becomes binding when we issue an order confirmation. Where a customer sends drawings, the cutting plan we return forms part of that confirmation.
Prices are quoted ex-works or FOB as stated on the quotation and exclude duties, taxes and destination charges unless expressly included. Payment terms are agreed per order and stated on the proforma invoice. Goods remain our property until paid in full.
Engineered stone is a manufactured product; natural stone is quarried. Slab dimensions are subject to normal production tolerances, and colour may vary between production batches. Where batch consistency matters, order the full quantity from one batch and say so at enquiry stage; we cannot reproduce a batch exactly once it is gone.
Samples and photographs indicate character, not an exact match. Ask for slab photographs before shipment if an exact face is critical.
Lead times quoted are estimates based on the production schedule at the time of quotation and are not guaranteed dates unless confirmed in writing. Risk passes according to the agreed Incoterm. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including shipping line schedule changes and port congestion.
Goods should be inspected on arrival. Claims for visible damage or shortage must be raised in writing within 7 days of delivery, with photographs and the packing list reference. Claims for pieces that have already been fabricated or installed cannot be accepted, because installation is taken as acceptance of the material as supplied.
We warrant that goods conform to the agreed specification at the time of shipment. This warranty does not cover damage from handling, fabrication, installation, unsuitable use, or failure to follow care guidance. Our liability is limited to replacement of the non-conforming goods or a credit of their invoice value, and does not extend to installation costs or consequential loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Where a separate contract has been signed between the parties, that contract prevails over these terms.
