We cast XG2623 as a celadon cultured marble slab, gold threads drawn fine across a pale green and cream ground. The threads reach about 42 mm at their longest and stay narrow the whole way, which makes this one of the quietest grained designs here — XG2621 is a straight upright grain, XG2622 a diagonal flow, and this one a thread. It is also one of the few green-cast boards in the range.
Celadon Cultured Marble Slab with Gold Threads
It is a pale green among our Cultured Marble collection. Cultured marble is the trade name for this cast, resin-bound material.
If the celadon cultured marble slab is going on a wall or floor of several panels, ask for consecutive numbers off one block. We then cut to your drawings and make the basin and tap holes in the factory. Clean it with warm water and a neutral detergent; acidic cleaners should be kept off it.
You will get photographs of the actual celadon cultured marble slab before anything is cut. Ask for a hand sample before you order. From stock it can be ordered as a single slab; check stock with us.
- Celadon with gold threads — The ground sits between pale green and cream, and the veins are thin gold-olive threads rather than bands. At two metres it reads as a soft green; up close the threads appear. That behaviour is what makes it usable over a large floor. What we would avoid is a room lit only by warm downlights — under that light the celadon pulls towards yellow and the green the board was chosen for stops showing.
- Cut to size or finished — We cut to your drawings and we also supply finished tops with the cut-outs, tap holes and mitred edges worked in the factory. On a threaded design the layout matters less than on a veined one, so cutting lists come back faster.
- No ring on pale green — Water absorption is 0.05 %. On a pale green ground that figure is worth more than it looks: water sitting on a porous pale stone darkens it into a visible ring, and this one does not take the water up in the first place.
- 119 MPa against the standard — It holds 119 MPa in compression, 1.3 times what GB/T 35157-2017 asks of this grade. It is the line a specifier checks before a slab floor goes into a corridor that takes cleaning trolleys all day.
- Class A, no restriction — Class A under GB 6566-2010 — the grade that carries no restriction on interior use at all. The internal exposure index comes in below 0.1 where the limit is 1.0, and the external index below 0.1 where the limit is 1.3. That margin is what a hospital or a hotel group wants to see before a material goes into rooms people sleep in.
A celadon cultured marble slab, gold threads running fine through it, is one of the few greens in this range — order XG2623 with the drawings and we quote cut sizes and finished tops together. This is a cultured marble slab — stone aggregate in a resin binder — not a quartz surface product, and it is not covered by the US antidumping and countervailing duty order on quartz surface products (A-570-084).
